Are You Looking For A Bellevue Chiropractor?
Every Bellevue Chiropractor is very different in their approach to treating your spine and body. This is a good thing because not every body was created the exact same and they all differ in how they respond to care. The following are things that I tell my family to look for when looking for a chiropractor out of state and what you should be looking for in your Bellevue Chiropractor
1. What exactly is their specific technique? Remember not every chiropractor does things exactly the same way. How do you know what your body needs? Well, if you do not feel comfortable with the “popping” that comes from a hands on adjustment, then you need a technique that is more gentle, like the techniques used at Back in Action Chiropractic. The other way is if you have ever had a massage and felt worse after then when you arrived, you are a candidate for a more gentle form of chiropractic.
2. Do they have a way of analyzing your ENTIRE body? Yes, from the tips of your toes to the top of your head. It is important to assess you as a whole, because we are one big connected chain. Something in your feet could potentially cause back pain. Something in your shoulders could give you head aches. So, ask if they have a way to assess your feet such as digital scans of the foot, do they have ways to look at your arms and shoulders? Now it may not be necessary to do all of these tests on every person, but it is important that they have the ability to.
3. Does the chiropractor continue his education above and beyond the “required” hours to renew their license? The health care field is changing on a daily basis. New research is coming out all the time, and if every chiropractor does not stay up to date on what is new then they are not giving their patients the best care available. Every chiropractor in the United States has to have a certain number of continuing education each year. What I have found is that this amount is far less than what is necessary to keep up to date.
4. Do they do rehabilitation or prescribe exercises? This is a vital component to getting better. I tell my patients all the time “I can put you back together all day long, but until your muscles can hold you there you are going to have ongoing problems”. This does not have to be complex, but it does have to be a part of getting you better.
Hopefully this gives you a head start in looking for a Bellevue Chiropractor. Good luck!

Exploring ADHD Treatment
Exploring ADHD treatment and finding the right treatment for you or a family member can be stressful; there are many different types of treatment available for ADHD or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Symptoms include not being able to pay attention, bad behavior, impulsivity. Treatments are different for children compared to adults and there are different medications used to treat ADHD. In this article we are going to explore some of the different medications and treatments of ADHD.
Medication is the most common treatment for ADHD; there are stimulants available such as Concerta, Vyvanse, Adderall and Ritalin that are used to increase brain activity in certain parts of the brain that makes you focus and that will help to control movements. There are side effects with these medications as with any medicine, as long as the medicine is taken as directed, and not abused, the medicine should be effective in controlling ADHD.
Natural remedies is another treatment because many people do not like using stimulant medications due to all of the side effects such as loss of appetite, depression, ability to sleep, and stomach pain to just name a few. Natural remedies are safe and effective. There are few side effects and natural healing is used instead of suppressing the symptoms. Natural remedies still have to be applied the right way in order to avoid complications.
Yoga and music therapy has been known to help relax the mind; this type of relaxation may improve a child’s hyperactivity and improve their ability to focus more. Doing breathing treatments during yoga may help with their nerves and help them to control their movements, more and more people are turning to alternatives for treatment.
A balanced diet can help with the treatment of ADHD; eliminating sugar can help to lessen the amount of medication needed since sugar makes the child hyper, which is a known symptom of ADHD. Therefore, with a healthy diet and exercise, the amount of medication an adult or child has to take can be lowered to a smaller dosage.
Many children and adults with ADHD have behavioral problems, but with the help of medication and therapy this can be resolved, children show behavioral problems with temper tantrums, physical abuse and sudden outbursts. A child with ADHD cannot always control their behavior, so seeing a therapist can help to improve their outrages and sometimes the medicine they are on can be changed to a weaker strength. Punishing a child with ADHD for being bad, will not help them at all, but the right therapy and medication will.
Start Living Again With Chakra Meditation
For more than two thousand years, meditation has been a part of mankind’s way of life. Every religion known to man uses a form of meditation as a means to achieve a higher form of spiritual consciousness.
At first meditation was used mostly by religious priests, but through the years meditation has been picked up by ordinary people when they discover just how the various benefits work.
Meditation isn’t hard in fact what it is really is the simple practice of concentrating and the intense focus on sounds, objects, ideas, breathing, action or even movement that will allow you to intensify perception, cut down on stress, enhance your relaxation, and gain a personal and spiritual growth.
Although meditation techniques have originally been practiced along religious traditions and beliefs in order to build up spiritual knowledge and awareness of ultimate reality, it can also be employed by anyone in order to relieve stress and pain.
With the latest understanding by Western medical practitioners of the important role of the mind in one’s ability to cope with health issues, more and more interest in meditation and its function in alleviating some physical ailments has made the practice an adjunct of traditional medical treatment.
It is very interesting that medical clinics and even hospitals are starting to offer the practice of meditation as a method for several of their patients to improve their health. In fact meditation has begun to be used as a method of treatment of some diseases. Also it’s being used as a way of improving overall quality of life for people who are suffering with chronic, debilitating or even incurable illnesses.
There are three approaches to meditation, transcendental, relaxation response, and mindfulness meditation, which is the stress reduction way of meditation.
Meditation centers on the seven major chakras, which correspond to the body’s major endocrine glands, the power and of course the environment of the universe.
If you practice meditation for at least 30 minutes a day your body’s functions will become more balanced and harmonious.
