Living in a static caravan can be a LOT of fun for all the family, not only can you find some really well priced immaculate homes, but more often than not you will be living in a great location.
They come in a variety of sizes and will have all the rooms that you are used to in a traditional home, there will be a kitchen, lounge, maybe a dining room, bedrooms, bathrooms etc… Size will depend on how many it is intended to sleep, some of the bigger ones will comfortably sleep up to around 10 people! Others are designed for maybe just 2.
Static caravans are homes built in the factory and then transported to the site where they are expected to stay. They can make useful temporary accommodation and are often used in renovation projects, agricultural units, staff accommodation and site offices. They are also used as full on homes for thousands of people everywhere!
Static caravans for sale vary greatly in price depending on how old the caravan is, and what condition it’s in. If you’ve got enough for the down payment, but not enough to buy the caravan in full, then there are credit schemes available that you can consider. You will always find that purchasing a static caravan is going to be a lot cheaper than buying a bricks and mortar property, but just like any property its worth getting a survey done to ensure its structurally sound.
For those that want luxury you will find a suitable static caravan, and for those who want basic living accommodation you will also have a large range to chose from, there really is something for everyone. With lower-end caravans, you will be looking at two bedrooms, a combined living/dining area, a smaller kitchen, a bathroom with a stand-up shower, and some limited storage. At the higher end, you will find 3 or more bedrooms, separate living and dining areas, 2 bathrooms, a larger kitchen, and more storage space. Some also come with extras like French doors, an outdoor deck and an electric fireplace.
It does not matter who you are or where you are from, a static caravan is a popular choice and not just for the worse off and gypsies as it may have used to be. Even if you only want a holiday retreat for a few weeks of the year a static caravan is a worthy investment, you could rent it out whilst you are not living there.
You can have a great holiday experience in a static caravan that you might not otherwise get. Their outside appearances are often very appealing and usually positioned in cosy camping sites near natural beauty spots. You usually even get all the modern gear you would expect in a normal home such as double-glazed windows, electric stoves, Wi-Fi and digital TV!
Whatever your situation, everyone can have a pleasant stay in a caravan whether its business, pleasure or your permanent home! It’s no wonder that so many people are turning to this cost effective way of living.
Do you need to be rich to get married abroad?
This is something that my Fiancée and I researched the other day, purely and simply because we were interested in getting married overseas in a nice warm and sunny country. All we kept on hearing was that we would not be able to put the money together to afford this. So straight away I put the idea out of my mind.
So we set off looking for where we could get married, tallying up lists of possible venues and churches. There was a problem though almost all of these wedding venues including a reception for almost a hundred people afterwards was going to cost us about fifteen thousand pounds. However when I started to think about it, what did these people really know, none of them were experts at this sort of thing?
In the end i caved in, I just wanted to find out for myself how much these weddings were. Now no prizes for any of you that guess how i then approached my wedding, I decided to just go ahead and book it, a week in St Lucia, wedding included. For as little amount as five thousand pounds sterling. Then it occurred to me that people would have to pay for their flights to come over to our wedding, which in a way made this even better. It meant that the only people that came to your wedding would be those that really care about you, and anyway they are getting a holiday out of it! Then it was all sorted out, it would be one year later and we would be married in the Caribbean.
Weddings abroad are a choice to all of us, try not to consider them as luxury holidays, however you do get spoiled, apparently Maldives holidays are the best for honeymoons!
Christmas Craft Activities For Kids – Easy Ornaments
Christmas ornament crafts can be fun and very, very easy. Spending time together as a family creating wonderfully fun Christmas ornaments is a great way to make memories with your little ones and decorate the house, tree, and wreath at the same time! Try a couple simple projects like these to start the fun!
Candy Cane Reindeer: This is a very sweet little ornament that will delight young and old alike. You’ll need to have some regular size candy canes, brown pipe cleaners, goodly eyes, the tiny ones, and some small red pom poms, decorative ribbon, and a small bell.
To assemble, take the brown pipe cleaner and twist it forming a V shape under the hook of the candy cane bending the pipe cleaner around into the shape of antlers. Glue the googly eyes onto the candy cane “face.” Glue a red pom pom on the candy cane for a nose. Tie the thin ribbon around your reindeer’s neck and string the jingle bell on for the final touch! These are perfect little ornaments for your Christmas tree or wreath.
Pasta Wreath: This is a traditional Christmas wreath with a twist. You’ll need small sturdy paper plates, a variety of pasta shapes, craft glue, tempura paint or craft spray paint, and pretty thick ribbon for a bow.
Assemble by first cutting a hole out of the middle of the paper plate so you end up with a wreath form. Pick out your pasta and start gluing it all over the wreath form. Try to cover as much of the surface as possible, even overlapping the pasta if you can. Then paint with whatever you have chosen and let the paint dry. Then glue on the ribbon and other embellishments to make your wreath pretty. Keep making them! You’ll want in each room!
Cinnamon Cookie Ornaments: These ornaments are very old fashioned and smell wonderful. Gather your supplies first. You’ll need a big mixing bowl, cookie sheet, cookie cutters in shapes that you like, a straw or toothpick for poking a hole in the ornament for hanging, and some pretty thin ribbon. The ingredients are: 1 cup of ground cinnamon, 4 tablespoons of white glue, and 3/4 to 1 cup of water.
Mix all your ingredients in a big bowl, pouring only some of the water in, then mixing and adding more water if you need in order to get the dough like sugar cookie dough. Put it in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Sprinkle a little cinnamon on a cutting board and knead the dough with your hands until it’s nice and smooth. Then use a pastry roller and roll the dough out evenly until about 1/4 inch thick. Cut out your shapes and poke a hole in the top for a hanger. Put your shapes on a cookie sheet and set in a warm oven for about 2 hours. Remove, cool, and tie pretty ribbons through the holes. Now you can give them as gifts or hang them from your own tree.
