I had a great boxing record, I won more than 100 fights, and I only lost 3, 2 of my defeats were caused by injuries, so I like to think that I was only defeated once.
Yes the injury destroyed my boxing dreams, I wanted to be the Champion of the world, but due to that injury I had to lay back from the sport for a very long time, when I was ready to make a comeback it was already too late. I’m not a boxing prospect anymore, but that’s not a problem, now I’m the champion of the web, I have a strong will, and I can recover even from the hardest blows.
I use boxing to stay in shape, I run every single day, I sparr, I jump rope, I like to practice on the speed bag, and I love to hit the heavy bag with everything that I’ve got. There have been times when I’ve felt like making a comeback, but I’m not a young guy, so it would probably be dangerous for me to go pro at this stage of my life. I will always love boxing, it is my favorite sport, I love watching Mayweather fight, he is my favorite fighter today, I think that he’s the best, and I also think that he will knock out the “Pacman”.
Sports are mylife, but I probably enjoy driving my car even more than sports. Driving is getting harder though, now there’s a lot of traffic in every city, I hate traffic because it makes me waste too much time, and time is the most valuable asset that I have. They might be able to run their company like Tony Soprano ran the garbage collection business in the US, but that approach applied to Japan will leave them exactly where they are now–on the outside looking in at the huge, fight crazy economy.
Dana White’s fanciful stories about corrupt promoters and Yakzua gangsters out of Quentin Tarantino movies might amuse his sycophants in the MMA media, but countless US companies including fight promotions have done business successfully and profitably in Japan. The UFC might be able to convince the clueless US media that they’re making progress in Japan due to a deal on a low profile TV network or, more recently a big ad campaign on a Japanese social networking site, but they’re currently spinning their wheels and going nowhere.
