The Ultimate Health Boost – Clearing Your Chakras!
Our world is a demanding one; we live busy lives which often leave us exhausted. It’s important to recharge yourself so that you can achieve ever better things in your life- and just get through your day!
It’s not just your physical conditionthat’s important; but also the shape that your mind and your spirit are in. All three are important to allowing you to continue to develop yourself in your personal as well as your professional life.
There are energy centers which are spread throughout our bodies, called chakras. Our chakras are responsible for maintaining the proper flow of energy. They are also what links our physical and non-physical beings.
Your chakras allow you to take your inner potential and manifest them as action as you work towards your goals. However, these internal energy centers can be depleted when you do not take the time to regularly clear and refresh them. Chakra clearing is something which should be a part of your life; it restores your inner stores of energy and makes you feel like a new person.
Chakras are located throughout your body, with the primary chakras being located along the spine. Each chakra corresponds to different character traits and each must be worked on individually to bring them into harmony.
Clearing chakras is a process of clearing out negative energy and allowing positive energy to enter.
By making counterclockwise motions, you can eliminate negative energy from your chakras; clockwise motions will invite positive energy into your chakras.
You may experience a twinge of pain or discomfort while clearing chakras. This is negative energy flowing out of your chakras and is nothing to be alarmed about. Your chakras will soon be replenished with positive energy.
The Essential Tools Of Chakra Balancing Therapy
According to Hindu thought, chakras are the energy centers of the human body. These are the key points at which our life force move through the body and are what keeps our body and mind functioning properly and in harmony with each other. While you can’t see your chakras, the major chakras are closely associated with the major parts of your endocrine system (which is tangible).
Our chakras are responsible for controlling the flow of energy into and out of our bodies. We depend on this constant flow of energy both internally and between our bodies and our environment. To keep in good health, our chakras must be in a balanced state.
Our seven primary chakras each correspond to a particular part of our endocrine system. Everything we experience is intimately related to our chakras.
Stress of all types: whether physical, emotional or mental can cause our chakras to be out of balance with each other. This causes a loss of energy or even physical illness! This is a very clear sign that something is wrong with our chakras.
For our body to reap the benefits of a well-tuned chakric system, they need to be functioning in harmony with one another. Chakra balance is essential to maintain its beneficial function to the human body and to achieve this, regular chakra balancing is necessary much like a car’s preventive maintenance procedures.
Importance of Chakra Balancing: Many methodologies exist in balancing our chakras and others are continually being explored and developed as the attainment of a perfectly balanced chakra system is the ultimate goal of people who want to enjoy a more fruitful, productive and healthy lifestyle.
To begin with, people must understand that each chakra has its own different resonant frequency which corresponds to naturally occurring frequencies. These frequencies which facilitate the energy reception and transmission functions of the chakras; otherwise referred to as qi, chi or prana.
During periods of illnesses, our chakras are still functioning but may be out of synch which can hamper the free flow of energy to further aggravate our physical and/or mental and emotional illness. Other contributory factors to the malfunction of our chakra system are undue stress or the inability to cope, suppressed emotions, unhealthy food intake, and lack of exercise.
Getting an Insight into Our Chakra System
The study of the bodys chakra system is often referred to as Chakrology by its proponents, alternative medicine advocates and New Age theorists. The existence of our chakra system was first discovered by the Ancient Hindus more than four thousand years ago. They have used the model for healing and promoting and individuals well-being.
There are seven major energy centers among the several thousands that make up our chakra system. These seven major chakra points are the doorways of energy that we gather from our environment and surroundings (including other individuals) that make up the complete person that we are in terms of spirituality, physical and mental existence as a human being.
The seven major chakra points of the bodys chakra system each possesses a unique purpose which in turn influences a particular feature of our existence. Even if they are separate and independent from each other, they work in mutual assistance of each other to bring about our well being, physically, spiritually, emotionally and mentally.
Although there are various models of the human bodys chakra system they have one thing in common, all models depict an uncanny illustration of the human bodys endocrine system and how the various endocrine glands chemically signal and communicate to one another.
The common representation of our major chakras is a straight ascending line along the spinal column from the base to the top of the head. Modern representations go one step further and assign the primary colors of the color wheel to each of the seven major energy points for a better illustration and to depict particular energy representations as colors symbolize different energy levels as well.
Although the energy points of our chakra system can not be seen, they are considered as extensions or invisible gateways to the endocrine glands that they correspond to. A chakric malfunction whether benign or not, directly affects our endocrinal system and therefore our body. Since they are the gateways of energy to and from our body, any blockages can result in our illness as well and an imbalance of our health.
Our bodys energy centers play a very important role in our well being ” both physically and spiritually.
Chakra Therapy And Chakra Meditation
The chakras (the word literally means energy wheels) are lined up along the center line, or meridian, of a person’s body according to ancient Vedic thought.
It is generally accepted that there are seven of these chakra energy-wheels, although some practitioners maintain that there are in fact 14.
Beginning at the base (believed to be either the bottom end of the spine or the genitals) they go right up to the top of the head, the crown.
The base chakra is red. As we go up, the solar plexus has a golden chakra; the belly or womb chakra is orange in hue. The heart has a green chakra, the throat blue and the center of the forehead is indigo. This acts like the third eye. At the crown, the chakra is violet that turns whiter towards its circumference away from the head.
In addition to being associated with colors (wavelengths of light), the chakras are numbered in order one through seven, with the base chakra being number one.
The first chakra controls our physical health and vitality and our sexual health.
Chakra two rules a person’s creative powers.
The third chakra is responsible for our desires and what we want.
Chakra four at the heart commands our emotional energy that opens us up to giving and receiving love.
The fifth chakra is responsible for communicating and is the link between what we feel and what we think.
