About B1G1 – A New Global Giving Service
Buy1GIVE1 is the home of transaction-based giving.
STOP. Take a breath. And imagine you were part of a world where every transaction made a difference.
Imagine, for example, you bought a TV, and automatically a cataract-blind child got the gift of sight. Automatically. Or imagine if today you bought a cup of coffee and someone in Africa got access to clean, pure water as a direct result. Again automatically.
It’s all happening right now. Already Buy1GIVE1 (B1G1) has become a true global giving ‘village’, bringing together businesses, their customers and worthy causes in a way that’s never been done before.
It’s happening globally, every second, every day and in every way with a staggering 556 projects already underway and making a difference.
That’s because in the Buy1GIVE1 world, every single transaction, be it buying a beer in Jamaica or renting a car in Reno (and everything in between) gives forward in a well-defined, resonant and measurable way.
Nowadays, when both corporations and charities have seen a decline in gains and contributions, cause-related marketing seems to really be catching on. Cause-related marketing is a business scheme involving a partnership between a company with a merchandise to trade and a charity with a cause to advance. As opposed to “corporate philanthropy,” which simply includes a company making a tax-deductible charitable donation, cause-related marketing benefits both the company (by helping to increase sales, and therefore, profits), and the charity (by giving donations and calling attention to the cause.)
You buy a book, a tree gets planted. You dine out, a child gets fed. Buy One Give One – simple. The list goes on forever and the giving simply happens automatically, every second, every day and in every way.
And it is beautifully simple. Buy1GIVE1 is now becoming a global movement as more and more businesses jump on board and enjoy the incredible benefits of transaction-based giving.

Event Photography Tips
One of the many ways you can make money as a photographer is to specialise on events. Weddings, christenings, and lots of other events where people create memories can be well paid business. The great thing is that all you need is a stack of business cards, and a good camera.
What to do
Cover only events where it is hard for people to take the pics themselves and where they will want to keep their memories frozen in film.
One idea is to go to kids sports events. Get permission from the coach to click pics for the parents watching and then start clicking away. If you turn up with a massive telephoto lens like the ones used for pro coverage of events, you will be taken seriously. Make sure you get all the kids doing great action shots and then hand out flyers to all the parents watching with your web address. If you can grab the parents email address so you can email them the URL of you site then upload the pics to your web site that day and email everyone. If you have a simple shopping cart set up you can make money in a few hours as people pop in to see the pics and buy them for $20 or more a pop.
You can do a similar thing with weddings. Take all the normal shots as part of the wedding coverage but then get your URL printed on the wedding invites and all the other wedding materials and also get an email list of all the wedding guests, offer the couple a nice 20% discount for doing this and then take lots of extra pics at the wedding of the guests doing all the things they do. Upload all the pics to your site and send the emails. You will then make a lot more money than the 20% discount it cost you because then 20 or 30 people will be also buying your pics at $20 or more a shot straight from your site. You can also charge a higher price for high resolution pics.
The trick is to find a corner in the market where you can excel by being the best photographer in the room, and offering an easy way for people to buy your photos.

Tested Work from Home Ideas that are profitable
Work from Home ideas come in all shapes and sizes, but some have a lot more potential than others, especially in these days of hard economic times
Basically, if you are looking for some ideas for home work, the internet offers the most potential for anyone contemplating work from home ideas. However, in my recent experience, even though the online world keeps expanding at an exponential rate, many individuals don’t even consider it. Can this be because a lot of the best ideas for a business from home can be located offline? l doubt that somehow, and in fact believe that the best ideas and certainly the most creative one’s, appear regularly online.
Anyone looking for good ideas for a start up business should certainly think about the internet, irrespective of your online experience. Once, l was like this, and then l took the bull by the horns and make the decision to become knowledgeable in using the internet to make money. Guess what? Well it’s a hell of a lot less complicated than l first thought, because once you know the basics of how things work, it gets easier and easier as time goes on. This is because once you have one site making you a few dollars a day, it’s just a matter of repeating the process in as many niches as you want.
For many online entrepreneurs, the two most usual methods of making a lot of money, are adsense and affiliate marketing
(1) Making money with Adsense is a great and very simple method that Google uses with advertising. Adsense advertising is the small text adverts you see contextually displayed on many websites. These ads directly correlate to the content on the page, and the whole purpose of the exercise, as far as the site owner is concerned, is for as many people to click these ads as possible. This is because you, as the site owner, get paid so much from Google for every time somebody clicks on one of the text ads. How much each click is worth to you is dependent on any particular adsense ad, and how much advertisers are prepared to pay for clicks to get people to their website. It varies considerably, but Google will pay anything from five cents a click up to around eighty bucks a click, for high end products such as auto insurance and suchlike sectors.
