I didn’t believe in the WoW gold cap when I first heard about it. Just a couple of years ago, a few players claimed they hit a cap but no one believed them because it was still really hard to make gold in the times of Burning Crusade. That doesn’t take into consideration all the time you’ll need in the Auction House to set up your sales and do research, etc. And that means you’re REALLY only making about 250 gold/hour. Which means more than ONE THOUSAND HOURS to reach the cap. And hold on a second. Do you plan on spending any of that gold during those thousand hours of game play? Then you’ll need to factor in MORE time in order to compensate for your spending.

Thankfully, there are now a wide variety of WoW YouTube videos than can help. You can use the Auction House to drastically increase how much gold you’re making every hour. There are ways to increase your profits in the Auction House that you probably haven’t thought of on your own. Having high level alts will be able to help you considerably. Making massive amounts of gold in the Auction House also means that you need to have the absolute best items for sale at all times.
